@@kukusls2087 Well, I'm not from Germany, but I understand what you're saying. You can find cheap rooms to spend your days, and in Ios, food starts from 8 euros for example pizza pasta crep etc. The beer isn’t too expensive, but I’m not exactly sure how much because I’m not much of a beer guy. maybe around 7 euros. Yeah, I’ve been there for two seasons. It’s very nice, and I highly recommend it, especially if you’re 19-25 years old. I mean, it’s not just meant for rich tourists

Sadly the same story almost everywhere: females never looking at male strangers and males looking at females who all refuse to make eye-contact or show any interest in any guys/blokes. Solution for both sexes: don't go out searching for u-know-wot until you've downed at least one very large vodka - or equivalent - ideally before and after a quick sea-swim and some limberin' up on the beach.

I'm born in '75 and when I turned one my mother took me there with a bunch of other friends and kids. They been there a lot longer be4 I was born in the hippie era in the late '60s. They never stopped going and we went there almost every year. Till my 16th. Than a long time I did not go there, I went back in the summer of 2018 after a long time, with my girlfriend. And the people still recognize me. The young boys who I played with. That was so heartwarming to me. I'll never forget that moment. Altho a lot had changed that I remember as it was when I was there the last time, it became more of a touristic scenery unfortunately. Because this was not what I'd expected and that made me sad. Zorbas the disco, gone. Matala Bay - in my time was the only hotel with a swimming pool - now they were everywhere. <---- I took my picture - that was taken on the mountain walking to Red Beach, in the back. Quite a hike. MayB next year I'll pay Matala a visit again. And see my good friend, Gorgeous at the Scala bar.

Who remembers , Bar 69 , The Why Not Bar , Village Bar , Blue Note , Homers cave , Dimitri and his Sweet Irish Dream ( used to be a sheep farmer then went on holiday too Ireland hence name ) watching Videos of Midnight Express at the Far out Cafe , Drakos Bar , Francesco pension with Maria , Olympic Flame Pizza and on and on !
