@@set1215 I don’t know what the socket is called. I took the nut to Napa and told them what I was needing and they had it. As for the bearings yes I packed both bearings liberally. You must keep grease away from the seal mounting surface going into hub and on the axel lip. Grease on those surfaces will cause a leak. Use liquid dish soap on seal surfaces and on axel tube. The nut will come off relatively easily when you remove the key. So not a problem to get off and carry to Napa. Hope that helps you.

There are 2 different ones. One is for single rear wheel and dual rear wheel. The dual rear wheel is (710563) from oreilly and the single rear is (710564) from Oreilly.

Unfortunately no I have not. I’m going to swap out the turbo actuator tomorrow. I have another truck that has stock actuator on it. The actuator I have on my truck that is overheating is aftermarket from city diesel. Now that the weather is really getting warmer hopefully I can get it figured out.

@@markmeeks2135 i actually dealt with a over heating problem on my Ram truck that I could not figure out for a long time. Try taking off the reservoir/overflow tank and try blowing through the hose and see if it’s stopped up. I had a bunch of dirt clogged up in the plastic nipple that the hose attaches to. Once I took a clohanger and unclogged it she was good to go. I have a good feeling this is your problem. Let me know if this works.

@@RickySlatton actually, my issue is I believe the electric fan is not coming on. I have replaced the fan and then I replace the second fan with a third. Truck does not overheat normal driving but under a heavy load with ambient temperatures above 50 the engine temperature will creep up and when I start pulling mountains, it will definitely overheat. However, when I hit 217°F I can put the truck in neutral revved a motor up to 2750 and hold it there for just a minute and the fan will fully engage. You can hear it roaring and the engine temperature will rapidly go back down. Once the fan engages, I just put it back in gear and continue climbing the mountain and the fan will stay engaged until it drops down anywhere between 200 n 208 then the fan will disengage. The fan will not re-engage. I have to complete the steps above in order to get the fan to work each and every time. I am going to make a short video later today. I have a trailer on right now. I am in these Nevada mountains. I also have a snap on scan tool to monitor the fan clutch activities.

Yes the hub is sometimes hard to remove. Just takes a little force to pull off. The seal is is holding it to the axel tube. The seal is a 2 piece seal and will most likely come apart. When you remove the outer bearing it will allow you to wiggle it around as you pull on the hub.
