There are some other great ps2 FPS games like Time Splitters 2 and Medal of Honor Frontline, but I think Black deserves to be in that debate.

Xbox 360 was already out when this game released and it still look great, it’s still a fun game to play and lot of shooter after still don’t have ask much damage ask this game.

For something released at its time the graphics and sound and the amount of things in the world that could be damaged and destroyed is fantastic. And using all the different guns feels great and they have weight and punch behind them. I don't think it gets high praise because its story is somewhat forgettable and just something to fill in the gaps between having a reason to shoot stuff from level to level. And it was a relatively short game that doesn't have a bunch of replay-ability outside of getting a higher score finding all the objectives. So unfortunately people just see at as "another shooting game"

Think Shredder’s Revenge might be the best, but I think Out Of the Shadows is very underrated.

Thanks, never finished this game and it's been very funny so far, so I will play through it to see the ending 😆
