Everyone saying "what about the fans!?" At the point the band was pulled, I'm sure all the info security had was " unauthorized drone". Im sure security and DPD would have felt pretty stupid evacuating 10s of thousands of people only to discover it's just a cam drone. Assess then execute, not the other way around. Handled perfectly!

I find this very unsettling. The way the band rushed off stage left everyone confused. What if it really was a drone with a bomb attached to it? You just leave the crowd there like sitting ducks while you run to safety without telling anyone why? If you’re worried something might happen during the show, like a drone attack, cancel the show. If not, keep your cool and address the crowd, explaining that you have to pause the concert due to security concerns. This doesn’t look good at all. Americans are very good at pretending everything is okay, but this just shows a state of constant fear where, in the end, it’s each person for themselves.

If you actually watched the footage you can see a crew member comes on stage and pulls mike off, and Billie Jo sees it happens so he follows to see what’s going on.

I was in the upper deck and noticed the drone. I really wasn't worried about it. It was also above Comerica Park and not inside it. Then I saw the drone swiftly fly over a skyscraper and disappear. We didn't really know what happened except that there was a huge sign on the monitor saying, SHOW PAUSED. Waiting for updates. Then he came back out pissed off! They haven't aged! And the Smashing Pumpkins rocked too🤘🤘

i was there and there were no announcements nor anything indicating why the band rushed off the stage. we theorized it was cuz of the done we could all clearly see but i guess only the band was in danger lol
