For the uninitiated (those who haven't read Sapkowski's books), the action of this game (and it will be a new saga) takes place a few years after the end of The Witcher 3. Ciri passed the test of the grasses and for those still unfamiliar, as a teenager in the temple of Melitele, Yennefer taught her magic, so Ciri knows how to gain elemental energy. I recommend reading the books.

It's expected. Different generations and all. But hopefully this new Onimusha game will deliver. I honestly gave up all hopes for a new title after waiting for literally more than a decade😂 Onimusha games were the reason for my obsession with Japanese culture, history and mythology. And the Soundtrack too.. my goodness it was way too good for its time.

No, look at the father when the bearded man calls Ciri out and at the look he gives her in the end... The father killed his own daughter to stop the villagers from sacrificing his daughter because he knew that they would keep trying again and again... Hence Ciri calling everyone else a Monster....

I have a different take. See how the father is bloodied at the end, the eyebrow? My take is he tried to protect his daughter from the mob but they got through. Thats why Ciri turned to them.
