Magnifique travail docteur Adrian! Je préfère personnellement quand les canines sont plus volumineuses et quand les incisives latérales sont un peu plus projetées en avant mais l'important est que votre patiente Paula a obtenu le design qu'elle a souhaité. Bonjour des Sables d'Olonne !

My tooth implant was done, more than 15 years ago, the tip does not look white, it was sylver, I struggled to make it look natural to this day it still looks un natural, could that be replaced to a white base ? Also it was incorrectly inserted the implant itself was pointing outwards slightly, what can be done to fix this issue ? Would I have to go trough the entire surgery again ?

@cactacaeaa17 күн бұрын
3 minutes isn’t bad either. many people do it 2-3 minutes. although if you have a stronger electric toothbrush i’d suggest away from brushing for a longer amount of time since if you DO often brush for a while, it could damage your enamel over time. it really depends on how long it takes you to clean everything, but personally with an electric toothbrush it takes me 1.5-2.5 minutes. not the best at giving advice tho so just do what makes your teeth healthy lmao

I'm about to go through this exact procedure on my two front teeth. I had a accident as a kid (fell off a bike); cracked my front teeth; got crowns and then apicos were necessary. fast forward 40 years later and - for cosmetic reasons - got the crowns replaced (the temps looks better than my old crowns). So, I still have temporary crowns on now. Now for the complications ... a local endo was going about to redo apicos due to hollow space on X ray imaging, and, upon going into tooth 8 and 9 discovered that the roots are fractured, and so they must come out (she went in because there was a fear of infection due to some discomfort I had been having and the appearance of a lesion on my gum above those teeth). 😒 My oral hygiene is very good and my gums are healthy. I should also mention that 7 and 10 are also crowns but the roots looks better there. So, I believe the thought now is to pull 8 and 9, and install implants (maybe with a temp bridge supported by 7 and 10 as the bone heals). HOWEVER ... seeing this video makes me think he could install implants the same day as tooth extraction, although ... I thought maybe a bone graft would be needed??? But, perhaps not? More to discover in the next few weeks. I'd be interested in any feedback. Thank you.

I’ve always had an issue trusting dentists who I feel are like auto mechanics. Go in for an oil change and walk out 2K in debt. Get a cleaning and walk out 2K in debt. Often a I’ve found that if the dentist knows you have excellent insurance, they tend to dig for gold. If lousy or no insurance , they do the least. So it’s a catch 22. Of all the dentists I’ve had, Dr Abel was my favorite. He wasn’t pushy and only made suggestions and informed you of options. Highs and lows of choices with excellent bedside manner. But alas , he retired. My new dentist I chose as Blaine reviews were excellent. He is fair and does give you options but I sometimes think hes upset if you choose the cheaper option. In 72 his. For the first 50 years of my life I paid a fortune to keep my original teeth , getting crowns, root canals, bridges etc to keep going. My parents both had dentures in their 30s so I made xtra effort to save mine. At 52, I broke 11 teeth in two years so able to save 2 but 9/were extracted with a partial - upper and lower. At 65, I had two crowns on canine upper, one tooth canal and teeth kept breaking upper. My mom was lactaid intolerant , thus me and siblings have sunk a fortune to save teeth. I chose upper denture and a horseshoe type. Took little time to adjust to and rarely notice it in my mouth. I have 8 lower teeth now at 72 and just broke a lower tooth. The dentist has suggested 1 extraction , 2 crowns , and add tooth to existing partial. I’m agreeing to this but at 72, I feel after this , I’ll just extract and add to my partial because if dentures are inevitable, I’m spending too much money for borrowed time. I have good insurance but dental anxiety has always been an issue for eye. I get a shot in my right eye every two months but far less anxiety over that procedure. I’m going in to dentist in about 90 minutes. Pray for me. I’m trying to avoid total lower denture cause they tend to get loose easier but it is what it is. I just don’t want any unnecessary complications as I age.

Water floss(if wanted), floss, brush, DO NOT RINSE WITH ANY WATER, use mouth wash and swish well, gargle, spit out, move on with your day…This is the order that I’ve read in a book written by a dentist stated to have reversed gingivitis in his patients….The order makes sense to me and my mouth and teeth always feel super clean and fresh afterwards.
@Veronika-d7q16 күн бұрын
I am confused…Shouldn’t you floss after brushing teeth to remove any left gunk between your teeth? Also, why can’t you rinse your mouth with water after brushing your teeth? The food crumbs that you brushed out with the toothbrush will be left in your mouth, as well as the toothpaste…
@lew70815 күн бұрын
@ My thoughts from reading the material is: The water floss and flossing is gonna loosen everything up. The brushing is gonna really dislodge anything loosened by the floss/water floss; then swishing with the mouthwash really well is gonna get rid of any loosened/dislodged particles and in between teeth.…You want as much remnants from the toothpaste and mouthwash products to remain on your teeth. This is why most dental professionals and even instructions on some dental products advise to not eat or drink anything(including water) up to 30 minutes after brushing. Mouthwash works better in conjunction with the toothpaste to keep more product on your teeth to help protect better than immediately rinsing it all out with water. You’re using the mouthwash to rinse everything out, instead of water.

Never in my life have I heard different until just a few days ago. I brush thoroughly, and then with the toothpaste still in my mouth, I thoroughly floss, and then I rinse with water and then scrape my tongue and rinse again. I don’t use fluoride toothpaste or mouthwash but will sometimes use a sea salt rinse to help keep bacteria in check and to remineralize. All these comments saying not to rinse after brushing, ew! I don’t want plaque and food residue just hanging out in my mouth! 😬

Floss, mouthwash, then brush. That makes the most sense. You’re not supposed to rinse the toothpaste off.
@Veronika-d7q16 күн бұрын
That doesn’t make sense at all…(for me) Shouldn’t you floss after brushing teeth to remove any left gunk between your teeth that you weren’t able to get out with a toothbrush? Also, why can’t you rinse your mouth with water after brushing your teeth? The food crumbs that you brushed out with the toothbrush will be left in your mouth, as well as the toothpaste…Lastly, why do you have to use a mouthwash before brushing your teeth?
