Just toured with Kings of Thrash, for the Summer of Thrash, and I've been friends with Jeff, Dave and Chris for many years, what great guys, and I've heard the new songs and their awesome.

Thank you so much for sharing this awesome video with us!! I am blown away by the amount of travel, work, auditions, etc. Frank has done. He's amazing, and he has more to add to his story! I haven't smiled in days, but when I heard, Briggs's charts blew away in a tornado..that did it for me! Thanks! Nice job everyone..keep-em coming! Love you, Frank!

The New York Flyers were a great band. One of my favorites. This was nice to see. Chris rocks, and Mike Marzullo had one of the best rock voices (if not the best) on that scene.

Frank ...your organ trio...was that "Micah"?! I think we may have previously talked about it on FB. Another 6 dgrees of separation moment between us. They moved to the town I grew up in, as a teenager, Latham NY (Albany's Liverpool...except without the Poor House North ;) ) and they rented a house and would rehearse inside or out. I would do anything to get a ride over there to listen to them (before I was officially licensed in NYS) They also played HS dances at my HS and floored everyone in the area.

I moved from Syracuse to Los Angeles 35 years ago. My last 2 years in CNY I had the pleasure of working for the DeSantis family at their N. Syracuse School House, and Bonne Music on Erie Blvd. I was going through a major transition in my life. They helped me start what ended up being a life long private teaching career. The DeSantis family are great people. Thank you for another wonderful interview. This made me miss CNY

Frank, aside from being an incredible artist and creative force, is a truly amazing person. His books on Mel Bay are fantastic, and he is one awesome instructor. I always felt that Frank's playing is so singular with such power, finesse, and entertaining. Frank was one of the early players to embrace electronic drums and in a hybrid kit. He's one cool cat and really is a legend in drumming. Thank you for this great interview.

Great video, guys! It just so happens, I know that guy you’re interviewing! Frank Briggs! He and I go back a long way actually. That’s my brother, and I couldn’t be more proud. Everything he says is true. Including the fact that our mom loved him best! 😂 Thanks for sharing this! I loved it very much!
