I have the same baler, they are old but good. would love to see more of the rk 55 and the baler...also, just curious why are you running with the doors and windows open? personal preference or does the air conditioner not work? just curious about that....good video

if you take off the side panels a/c works a lot better during the summer. It takes a lot of crap in the raditor screen before you ever have to jump out trust me tym t554 700+hours

Can anyone give some pointers on how to get it to wrap? PIcks up the hay and dumps it, fine, but can't wrap.

Is the electric actuator working when you move the switch? Or does it have hydraulic tie

I like those old balers! I have a 483 New Idea and use to have a 484 also. I’ve baled a lot of hay with those over the years. Where are you located?

Yes I do it has 830 hours on it and we haven't had any trouble with it.

Where do add hydraulic fluid to? I haven't been able to find where to add it and Rural King apparently doesn't know lol

It would be nice if you showed where all of this stuff is. Yours is the only video on KZbin that I can find for the 50 hr service on the rk55. How much oil goes in the 4 x 4?

I've got a 5800, thinking of getting that same machine..no hills flat hay fields...Did you finance thru Redstone.... im on the fence about my score....

Yes we financed through Redstone it was pretty easy. They approved us for up to $75000 with a mid six hundred credit score

Thanks Dustin im @ 657 with experian, 660 wuth trans debt to income ratio is 28pct very good they awant 42 pct, under with 33 being average... im going to pull the trigger, look at getting my application in on Monday. Fingers crossed.

I have a 5530 too. That is a nice looking bale!! Takes a little practice to make a nice bale like that. Mine is probably the most dependable piece of equipment if have. It just takes twice a long to bale with compared to my JD 430.
