What a true " Opry moment" me and my Brother just got back from the opry this weekend. It is my true happy place watching that red curtain go up. Have been coming for over 26 years. Porter, Jimmy Dickens, Jimmy C Newman. Whoever we've seen or see, it is the Greatest Show in Earth. God bless the Grand Ole Opry " Forever and Ever Amen"!

It was lucky that back in 1976 I stopped at a little place in Euless to get a beer. There was Boxcar Willie on a little stage with a few musicians. There was no cover at the place and I had never heard of him. After he sang a few songs imitating famous stars, I thought he sounded better than the original singers. A few years later, he was up in Branson.

I saw their home when they were both alive and she died on my birthday May 15th! I was born on May 15 1951! I am now 73 and a woman and I lived 30 years together till May 5th 2014 when God took her right in front of my EYES WITH NO WARNING SUDDEN HEART ATTACK ! NOT EVEN A CHANCE TO SAY GOODBUY!
