It's 66 inches wide (exactly my height) and 16 inches deep, a bit smaller than you think but still huge!

"Verdi,s bass drum" i think its something about the tension of the skin Like Berlioz said in his book of orchestration and instrumentation.. in this case, maybe it,s trying to emulate Distyn,s huge bass drums of the 19 century.. I guess
