Really nice and what a trunk...Greenwood scissors are great...I can't believe how fast you prune and manage to bring out the branch structure while thinning at the same time...Brilliant and very enjoyable to watch...I'll watch it again this evening and try to retain some of your technique...Really enjoy your channel and thanks for sharing...Sequim, WA...

Awesome technique Chris 👩🏻🌾🪴 How long before you cut the branch down from the grafted tree?

Wow, the deadwood on the second one is aamazing! Have you thread grafted in autumn before? I thought it wasn't the best time to do it?

Can't see the harm to be honest. I do it anytime of year.

Neat, I've been wanting to try grafting something, I've got a maple with great roots and trunk but only 1 dinky branch 😂 it's a candidate for experimentation . Do you think some seedlings would work for grafting adding branches? P.s i really like the 2nd tree, the deadwood is great. I like the overall shape!

WOW, I can't believe you showed a climbing hydrangea! I have a very old one that needs to come out. Its got a massive, massive trunk. The branches are very long, and yours gives me some guidance as to cutting them back. I've only seen 1 other video on this climber, from David Easterbrook. So glad you posted this.
