I started to cry tears of joy... and I cried through to the end of the song... and long after it ended... The message of this song... is the message of God... He alone made provision for you and me... Now I don't know you, but I know me... and deserved none of that... none of his love and his mercy! But, praise God, he saw in me something that I thought had shriveled up and died because of my sin... But I didn't have to "cleanup my life" before I came to him... I love the old song "Just as I am"... No other "religion" in the history of the World required only that I come... and I believe... and I trust... in the one perfect being... the one perfect Lord who died for me... and who knew and loved me even when I didn't do the same for him!
