Each time I hear this song, I cannot help but cry. Though I know he sings it in English for clarity, I wish he would learn to sing it in Gaeilge. Now THAT would set an Irish audience on fire!

Wow, I’m a big Rod Stewart fan, yet I’ve not heard that before. A beautiful rendition of a very sorry story. Hard to really comprehend the feelings of the 2 young people who loved each other but had no time to share that love 😢
