My wife has been on dialysis for 9 years she is 27 yrs old, after ligation(she has a catheter in her chest rn hoping for a kidney transplant) her blood pressure skyrocketed and bp medicine doesn't help. We have spoken to many cardiologists, multiple clinics, she has drunk every and any kind of bp medicine imaginable. Her bp is still OVER 200/150 daily no matter how much meds she drinks. Any tips any advice how to deal with this? No one knows what to do. We are desperate

Long overdue! Boarded for years in cardiology and EP but instead of doing the ten year exams in 2022, I opted for the ACC Collaborative Maintainance Pathway,. I took the yearly test for two years and passed them starting in the year my boards were to expire. Now find myself needing a bunch more MOC points and in the dreaded "meeting MOC but not certified" category. The longitudinal knowledge assessment can leave you in this lurch for 5 years, HRS asked ABIM to continue to categorize EPs who are participating in an alternative pathway for recert (LKA or ACC collaborative) as board certified. That alone would show some good will and real interest in lifelong learning. So glad there may be an alternative to dealing with ABIM. Thank you

Recently therr was a news item that genetically modified pig kidney was implemented in a Camotose patient in New York where the patient survived for about 60 days but he died. I would encourage doctors who say they encourage questions to make sure they really mean that, and that they are really open to a conversation that doesn't include a high pressure sales pitch or a denial about vaccine injury. I am (board certified specialist diagnosed) vaccine injured from the mmr. I have yet to meet a peds doctor who doesn't minimize that and brush off my concerns or ignore the published studies I bring.
