I dont see why anyone would have an issue with storms rising power. She is one of the most compelling characters, shes already been established as omega level and people still undermined that. Yet put every other omega level mutant above her in terms of power. Magneto, iceman, etc. All weirdly made out to be so much more powerful. When omega literally fades the upper limit of her powers into obscurity. And atmokinesis, with an omega level status would be one of the most potent powers to exist. Not including obvious cosmic or reality warping abilities. And all of this is only a fraction of her true potential. An already established omega level mutant, witch and even goddess. None of these labels for her are new, but at points in the past they were merely labels and we still have yet to see what they truly mean for her. No other character would have any pushback. Rogue, Jean, Kitty, Hope, etc. Storm should be at the frontline, alongside Jean rather than just the useful right hand. The truth is she is one of the biggest faces in marvel, and that will never change. I would argue she is the most recognisable female mutant to the general unknowing public aswell. Period.

This is the Dumbest story I've ever heard. Just to put Storm in a high position. Thor lived for hundreds of who knows how much years, killed many things and all of a sudden he gives up his powers to put someone in a powerful position. I'm happy that they've made T'Challa and Sam friends again. It was T'Challa who gave Sam his first pair of wings, enabling him to fly for the first time. They had been close friends for years. Having animosity between them seemed forced.
