I noticed similarities to the Hyundai Santa Fe. The front and rear lights appear to be more vertical than the Santa Fe. Hopefully the dual clutch transmission is sorted.

The concept looks like the ugliest car ever designed. With the second worst being the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Hyundai barely improved the design of the 6 despite delaying it 12 months to redesign it so I don't hold out much hope for this one. The chief designer needs needs to be sacked.

The VF-7 will sell well IF it is priced less than $25k. A no-name start-up cannot command $43k (VF8) or $75k (VF9). Undercutting established carmakers was how Japanese and Korean carmakers earn consumer trust when they first began.

Vinfast's problem is shipping costs and taxes and incentives. Vinfast obviously also bears shipping costs and taxes like previous Korean and Japanese cars, but the difference is that they do not receive incentives or subsidies. In fact, Vinfast is competing with competitors that are subsidized up to $15,000 depending on the car model, while VF 8 models are not in the US. That makes Vinfast cars seem quite expensive compared to cars in the same segment, I think that's why they sell so little.
