I surfed there in September of 1982. The water was crystal clear, the reef pristine, uncrowded and 3 barrels on each wave. A slice of heaven.

Brings back some memories, Kuta Reef was the first wave surfed in my trip back in 1986. A really good intro to what the waves could deliver in Bali. The experience was like an amazing dream that you didn't want to end.

Pagi! yes the longest board you could bring is 7'4, because they only have small airplane! and it cost one million per surfboard 😄🤙
