Hello! Maybe you know how to sum the signal for streaming? At the moment I only have guitar signal. I would appreciate any help!
@Turluk8 күн бұрын
It was not a logical decision to put an unbalanced input on the first channel, not all streaming platforms work in stereo mode

Thanks for your video but to be honest, I’m here looking for the answer to one simple question that seems to be nowhere on the internet, at least that i can find after an exhausting search. Here Goes: How after plugging in a microphone into the XLR at the top right input, and a guitar into the 1/4” input at the bottom input, Separate my outputs over on the outputs on the left side of the XTone Pro? My goal is to get effected vocals (reverb for example) to go to a PA, and effected guitar (overdrive for example) to go to a guitar cabinet or even another channel on said PA with different volume levels and those said effects not blending into 1 channel and sound? If you don’t know how to do this, would by chance be willing to email your friend for me? You have no idea how much it would mean to me. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!
@RobFlaxMusic11 күн бұрын
Ah, thanks for watching! I'm not sure either-the strength of this unit for me is the "blend it all together", no send/return needed (i.e. my effects happen before they hit the Xtone Pro). I think I understand though (and correct me if I'm wrong): you're trying to get vocals and effected guitar into your USB device (iPhone or laptop or...), but also then out to separate outs into the room? If that's the goal, I would expect the default output to be L in > L out and R in > R out, and the sounds are only blended in the USB-interface side of things (i.e. both in mono there). But I haven't tried this in a while and maybe it doesn't do that (or needs to be configured to do true stereo rather than sum to dual mono?). Probably worth shooting XSonic a message (there's an "info" email on their website, xsonicaudio.com).

@@WorkBob-m5h Volta violins are made to order, usually, so if there was a Flaxotron in stock it likely has sold. But there's more on the way! Give Electric Violin Shop a call and they'll take care of you.

Thanks for the video! Getting some smooth violin overdrive that doesn’t sound too harsh given all the high frequencies from the bow vs the guitar picks they’re intended for has been a problem I’ve been grappling with for years, and this is so helpful. Your tone at 8:10 reminds me of Sugarcane Harris’ violin tone on some of Zappa’s albums!

Great video, many thanks! I'm experimenting with the octave down on the ME80 (the effect on the expression pedal) which is ok. Is there any way to hear less of the 'ambient' sound on my electric violin - all I hear is octaves rather than just the octave down pitch.
@RobFlaxMusic5 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! If I'm reading correctly, you'd like less of your dry signal, and more of the suboctave? If yes, you can control the balance of each octave using the three knobs in that Comp/FX1 section-more of the first two knobs (-1 and -2 oct), and turn down the third knob (direct). Hope that helps!
