I come back to watch this every once in a while and I always notice new cool little details. Like this time it stuck out to me how all the scenes where the HECU marines are showing compassion for their squadmates, like the corpsman rushing to the squad leader, are directly juxtaposed by dead BM staff right in the center of the shot. A nice little reminder of why Gordon has had to become such a killing machine.

Man, such good direction and realistic depiction of the entire Black Mesa Incident. Puts a whole new perspective to the other characters, and of course, Gordon Freeman. Everyone was a victim. Those time's the games really had a story. Commendable work! I am watching your other videos, too!

This is exactly how Dr Freeman will have to fight to survive. Superb! Did complete justice to this iconic game! That enigma is who we were when we played Half-Life. Simply amazing! The direction, the entire sequence. The entire pacing is due to the direction. Really says a lot about the creator's skills. Much, much more exciting than many hand-to-hand sequences. Weird to think that these soldiers were just on a regular day of their job.
