Although my fall from the skids that ended my career happened in peace time… I can empathize with the feeling laying on the ground looking up at the bird. It’s a real feeling of total helplessness. It’s been forty years but it still haunts me. God bless these heroes.

My physical therapist helped me repair a shoulder ligament while incorporating rugby motions (mostly tackling technique and being able to apply high pressure for rucks)
