The canopy is genius, I was wondering why some manufacture would not produce something like this a while ago and was told it would be too cost prohibitive. Guess that’s not true or the technology has vastly improved in 8-10 years.

Zoukei Mura on Shinden in 1/32. Radu Brinzanon Bf 109 in 1/32 from PE....And So forth Otherwise, imho , it won't be that hot...for good Reasons.... One of them ...anything more than layer od paint Is out of scale, especially in 1/48... As said, just my opinion...

Great build bringing a vintage kit up to modern standards using a few techniques I'd never of thought of such as using the game to look through the inside of the fuselage. Keep on giving out happy modelling vibes

Originally an AMtech kit, then a Tamiya, and finally an Academy. AMtech had plans for a line of P-61s before they folded.

I didn't know about those circumstances. P-61 is very interesting.

Thank you. I didn't realise how interesting the things I bought from the recycle shop were. From a seaside town in Niigata in Japan.
Spectacular work sir! And you’re a master at masking!

Looks great! I haven’t built a model in like 30 years 😂 when I last did I was a little kid and didn’t do the best job. Why do you paint when some parts are already the correct color? Do you not glue the models anymore? Or everything is a snap fitment now? Thanks!
@totuka-aviationАй бұрын
Thanks for the question! No glue is required! Regarding the colour, I don't think you need to paint it. However, I painted mine because the blue of the material was much lighter than in the animated film.

Toughest part is getting the wing swivel into the body without breaking them. Buy 2...

A lot of care was also taken when assembling it. It occurred to me while assembling that this part will probably never be removed in the future.

One of the better vintage kits, from what I remember. Very nice 3D printer at! But I think the interior should be green "Verde Anticorrosione FS 34272" :-)

Thanks for pointing this out! I thought while building it that the modelling was excellent despite being a vintage kit.

Hi. A very nice job. These old Airfix kits are a challenge, these are the sort that I made as a child. You have incorporated the 3D parts into it and they have worked really well. A lovely paint job too. Well done , you can be very proud of this model. Regards.
