I have the Olympus e-m1X and e-m1 Mark III. Lenses include Olympus 300mm F4 Pro, 40-150 F2.8 Pro, 12-40 F2.8 Pro and 1.4x MC-14. I wanted to explore higher megapixel cameras for various reasons. I went with the Sony A7r IV. Lenses included the Sony FE 200-600 mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS , Sony FE 70-200 mm F2.8 GM OSS II, and the FE 24-70 mm F2.8 GM. I appreciated the better sharpness with the Sony, but I had to zoom in or crop way in to notice the difference. At normal size, it was very hard to tell the difference. I do strictly wildlife photography and landscape. I've been doing photography since the mid 80s and had a Canon AE-1 Program and ended up with an Olympus OM4 Ti. After using the Sony and Olympus system for years, trudging through every sort of hellish landscape the outdoors can offer, just to get a glimpse of a particular animal, I can say that I prefer the Olympus system. It's lighter in weight. They Sony systems were killing me, where ounces = pounds. I felt the build quality and weather sealing was better with the Olympus; though this is purely a perception I have. I discovered Topaz which has a great sharpening tool; which, with proper technique and settings, I really didn't need with either system anyway. I felt that Sony is superior when it comes to having to make large, very large, prints or to crop in a lot without loss of detail. With my Olympus lenses and the stalking techniques I use, I don't find it necessary to have to crop in much to frame a picture in a more pleasing way. I get close to the creatures I photograph. That is what hooked me to wildlife photography, the challenge of getting in close and quietly. To be a part of my subject's world without them knowing. I sold my Sony gear to my brother in-law and he absolutely loves that system and has had tremendous results. When it comes to picture quality, I give a slight edge to the Sony, but for what I do, it does not matter. At least I'm getting out there. Have a great week

It’s refreshing to see there are still some people willing to invest in quality products. There is far too much Chinese made junk out there.

I just bought the Shinobi 2 for my X-H2S and am having extreme ghosting. Any solutions? I just returned it since I never have good experiences with Atomos.

It’s sad, but you can already assume that when any update for a product involves Fujifilm it will likely not work…😢

The programs they use are highly over rated ,and are still 8bit,,non real-time /nonmultitasking still far below the quality of even the Amiga 1000, or any Amiga for that matter. Then, you got the Video Toaster 2000 ..Then Toaster Screamer/Oven..Then they go oh thats special hardware.Hey ,a expensive vid card is special hardware,as well ,as all the other special hardware u have. Still, you cant beat a stock 256k Amiga 1000 from 1982.Thats sad.

Very cool you say it will work with x-series, too? I didn't find any information on that, so will the Fuji x-s20 also be supported?

Unfortunately it wont use DXO raw files and scrubs all the added goodness. You can import tiffs though but its not as good.

The sound is a little echoey, which is expected for a small space. A short condenser mic or sound treatment would clean that up. I think the sound is just fine for the video. I liked the shots and the coloring. I'm subscribing. Nice job!

If color picking doesn't work for ya - like it doesn't for me - just change the colour wheel to RGB Hex Sliders and copy paste value between swatches and gradient map. Great tutorial mate, thank you!
