Hated the cold. The PE teacher would tell me to "run around a bit and I would soon warm up" but I never did. I was the last kid picked and usually ended up in defence.

Great film brings back memories of playing footer in the freezing cold at Primary School where the pitch was on top of a hill. The case ball weighed a ton and left lace prints wherever it hit.

You could tell he'd been a teacher before turning to writing. I remember PE lessons not unlike this one, it's very convincing (and I'd have been one of the kids in the wrong kit!)
