I love discussion about not feeling enough and how one grasps for perfection. When I reflect about this and ask myself, when is it when I feel happy with the self, I can see it is at times when I am feeling present and good about myself. And the past year, I have embraced the moments to when I made mistakes and was OK when they happened. It doesn't feel as big of a deal like they use to. I had more grace in those moments and found more compassion because I had the ability to put myself out there, be vulnerable, and it all worked out just fine.

I'm so happy I found FCBD I could cry. I'm moving in a few months to the middle of nowhere and will have to leave my current belly dance studio. I've been looking for the right online studio to join and I've finally found it. The fact that their website has a video dictionary of movements categorized BEAUTIFULLY tells me they actually care about what they're doing, and that kind of attention to detail is going to be reflected in the quality of their instruction.

Sorry I could not follow live, however it was lovely ❤. I will try to represent at my best in my area the wonderful dance style you created Carolena. Thank you Carolena and thanks DeAnna for creating FCBD U online, a precious source for any dancer/teacher ❤

Wow, so happy to have stumbled on this video :) great to hear you speak, Carolena ! I can't thank you enough for my precious beginnings at FCBD classes while you had your studio in SF. Actually, I took my very first classes when you were ending your reign at Noe Valley Ministry and was scared lifeless of not doing it right as bellydance was a whole new world for me. Yes, good to not be a perfectionist when learning. Many blessings - you are an inspiration to us all ***
