Sad to hear this poor woman put her faith in what men said, rather then what the Bible says. This is a very dangerous place to be in. I am a bible believing Christian first and foremost and a by historical conviction. I have watched countless testimonies just like this ,and I see a common theme throughout all of these testimonies on multiple different channels and on multiple different documentaries, they all have something in common, they're connected with King James only or independent fundamental Baptist or just simply so called Bible believers. But there's something very troubling about every one of them with maybe the exception of 1 in 100, these poor people going to these churches are putting more faith in a man than they are the words of the Living God, they are idolizing a personality over the words of God. I found in life that when a man has corrupt Doctrine his life will ultimately produce corruption as well. It truly is sad to see people fall into these false churches with men who teach false Doctrine and then completely fall out of the faith. And when I say that I do not mean they are unsaved I mean they are mislead with a corrupt system that has manipulated them both mentally spiritually and physically in some cases. I've been watching those kinds of videos for a while now and some of them are genuine but a majority are just doing it not because they care about kids,because they do not, they do it because they see money in it, they can get clout and they think they can do whatever they want to the pdf because nobody is going to defend a pdf. When Jim Bob invited us to stay with them for a few days, the older girls were all teens. I was not quite out of fundamentalism yet, but I was moving that way. As I look back, now with clear eyes, I can remember how much pressure the girls seemed to put on themselves to please the adults around them, including my new husband and myself. It's all about "dying to yourself" , denying your own needs to serve God and others. My girls behaved the same way. This robs them of a childhood and it absolutely interferes with their ability to follow that little voice inside of them that tells you that something is wrong. And you can't keep yourself safe.

you're right because if you count the Documentaries that aired before 19 Kids and Counting premiered Sept 26th 2008 yes Jinger has been on Camera since age 10 and the youngest 5 kids were born on Camera so since the spin off Counting on was cancelled 4 years ago they've had a big adjustment to actually having private lives. that's in fundamentalist circles in the secular world some women have worked outside the home for nearly a century I.E. seamstresses teachers etc. granted I was raised secular religious Catholic/born again Christian attended public school due to disabilities

I did research to this subject with AI. The conclusion by AI was: there are no pdf hunters who actually do it for the children. There is always a personal reason behind it in the form of clout, attention, becoming famous and above all the money that comes with it. You can make a very good dollar with it. Quite a lot of them have been on the wrong side of the law themselves, often violence related and sometimes even for the same thing. They mainly feest upon a sensation seeking audience. Being an abused child myself and have been a volunteer to work with abused children and young people for over a decade, i can tell you most of them are more afraid for this violent "protectors" then the actual pdf. What a child want is simple, hand it over to the police and get on with their lives. They are not so keen on this "helpers".
