How long do you wait between cleaning, oiling and conditioning? does the leather need to be dry before starting each step?

Thanks so much for this great demo. I have always wondered if my saddle cleaning method was enough. Now I know what I learned as a teenager at riding school , was missing some very important steps. Much appreciated sir !
