Dramane is a griot playing all the traditional African instruments. All of them do your homework people. Respect to all the masters!

I love this video. Dramane Kone is a real good hearted brotha. O haven't met brotha Weedie Braimah yet but looks like hes super down to earth. David Hilal is another good hearted brotha as well. All three brothas are definate hardcore djembfolas.

That's right brotha David. He is soloing like no tomorrow I wish I was able to afford to learn from the djembe Masters. I never had that kind of teaching. I have felt for years that I wasn't really taught the rhythms properly when I first started and now years later I feel like I'm still trying to catch up. Most of what I learned was self taught so I never had that rhythm structure. I definitely like this rhythm. It keeps me encouraged to keep learning more and the history behind each rhythm I learn. A rhythm is never complete until the history of the rhythms are fully learned. Keep up the wonderful drumming brotha David and many blessings to you and your whole family and relatives always my drumming brother.

Hi thanks for Sharing. What's interesting is the little accompaniments of Kone during the weddie solo. you have to place accompaniments when you play with masters like Kone. we hear a lot of language on Kone's solo passages. It must be a mutual help and less a fight of speed. it's polyrhythm.
