Someone has to lead, and the others need to follow. Review this video and figure out the culprits. Would be nice to invite audience to sing. Trumpets are not together and their is an imbalance, the euphonium is not locked in with the Tuba or Horn. I have an easy fix for this. Due to the euphoniums bell placement as opposed to not seeing the Tuba and horn, your seating needs to be rearranged, So, place the French Horn over one on the outside, move the trumpet next to the other trumpet where the Euphonium is, and place the Euphonium where the horn player is. Everyone can see each other and the trumpets will balance better. and the ensemble can be "tighter" on entrances and following the melody. Talking to the audience one should stand, and do it more often, the key to performances is to engage the audience. You have really nice tones but you are a mess ensemble wise. Tighter and balance need to be addressed. In a church, acoustics can be a problem and there should be a difference in dynamics between melody and the harmony. The melody needs not to be buried. Program selection is another issue, Change it up a little bit, play something more lively in the beginning after the national anthem. Everything sounded the same and it is boring. Fine for funerals but if you want to build an audience, it's about the audience, not just what boring stuff you want to play. Beautiful tones, but a mess ensemble wise. You could have a theme like music in a historical order as opposed to aimless. Yankee Doodle to GOD Bless the U.S.A. or something like that. Reach out to me, if you like.
