Thank you very much! I’m the creator of this mod. I love the original music, but wanted to try my hand at implementing different music but not losing the energy and momentum of each stage/set. Since I utilized more enemies than what SOR normally does, as well as new locations, I wanted to try to give them their own feelings. The music and stages in the original SOR are so iconic, so I wanted to offer something new but familiar. Glad you like it! All musical credit goes to composer Jeff Van Dyck. They’re tracks from his extremely illustrious video game soundtrack career. Don’t remember where I found them all. But it’s amazing how versatile his music is. Mega talent.

Why?

I kind of understand it was like a chopped final fantasy 13. But the soundtrack got me into it. The 13 series to me is second to none. We can argue about what game is better. But soundtrack 13 & 13-2 is heavens work.

@@Marcos_1983 I'm not comparing XIII-2 to any other game, it's a mess on itself. The dialogues are just bad. I felt cringe when Noel and Serah stepped up to a totally stranger in a totally strange work and suddenly they understand everything about it just by that person telling them half a sentence and the made sense of it just by thinking about it for a second. Those parts I really hated. But the small pockets of worlds have unique feeling especially accompanied by the soundtrack, it's really a unique experience. I like the soundtrack too and I have fond memories of XIII-2 but it's till a mess :)

It’s a mess, but I liked it nonetheless. My biggest complaint was that it was too easy. I like the battle system, and I like that unlike XIII, they actually let you develop your characters freely from the start. But the game is so easy that if you actually know what you’re doing and it even reasonably well, it offers no challenge at all. Waste of s good battle system imo.

yeah mate i feel ya, the i played the demo a lot. the music and aesthetics were just amazing, and they even improved 13s already sick battle system. just overall a great step up from ff13
