That title did not not make any sense to me what did it mean in the first place and why did you have to change the title in the first place.
@markzappasodi4 ай бұрын
It translates to horny, Liverpudlian jerk, which was deemed offensive back in 1967. He was asked to come up with an alternate title, so that was EXACTLY what he named it for the UK release.
@ADAMSIXTIES Жыл бұрын
I like this version better, more natural and in tune. It achieved #2 in the UK the week of July 19th, 1967. Since the title Randy Scouse Git was deemed offensive it was changed to Alternate Title.

Very Perceptive Daughter. Keep introducing music to her,it will always play a role in her life. Your story reminds me of the times my daughter has surprised me with things she has said, such as "America" by Simon and Garfunkle being one of the best songs of all time and the time she used "Surfs Up" by The Beach Boys in her student film. You get an honestly from children that tend to get lost when they become adults. Now , Emma is 18 and is starting UCLA and I hope she continues to carry on the same love for music as she did as a child. I wish the same for your daughter as well.

This is one of those sings with lyrics that could mean anything you want them to mean. Sort of Dylanisk. Mike always said he liked that sort of writing, buy apparently so did Mickey. Steely Dan were the best at that sort of lyric writing.
