Change up your voices… less attack and less sustain. Get that timbre tamber. And make sure you cut some frequencies, give space low for kicks. I’m assuming your looping. Boss 505 or ableton…. Put in a year and you’ll enjoy

Verdi's Requiem isn't easily loopable, but I'll see if I can find a part of Verdi's Dies Irae that can be looped adequately ! Thanks for the suggestion.

@@Leland_Iko_Music My wife bought me a Pa5X for my birthday this year. I also have a KRONOS. That's got my orchestral samples from Waves Audio. But I use the Pa5X most of the time.

@@basspig I am JEALOUS... I wanted the Kronos2 but the whole Kronos range was discontinued by the time I ordered the PA5X and replaced by the crappy Nautilus (ok.. .it has the same 9 sound engines as the Kronos, but they removed all the panel controls so you have to go through menus and crap to do anything which is not great for live production). If I had waited 3 months more before ordering the PA5X I could have had the Yamaha Montage M8X ... I would dearly love to get my hands on a Kronos2-88 even if it means a trade in of my PA5X -- I very RARELY use the arranger functions on it anyway.

@@Leland_Iko_Music I bought the Montage four years ago, but had too many problems driving it with a DAW (the piano occupies 4 MIDI channels!!), so I bought a KRONOS 2 - 88 and compared the two for a while. When I heard the pianos on the KRONOS, I returned the Montage right away.
