Too bad the scheduling for the stops changed and left the observers with their ____ hanging out. No where to be found a real time clock of events on website. That can’t be a big deal. I hear everybody loves the run and wants to expand it. Local support must be good too compared to other venues. To keep everyone interested we need reliable information. It can be flexible just announce it. Have a rep at each stop to explain where the fleet is and etc.

Heading north on 75 Sunday and I saw a bunch of these boats heading south. Figured some kind of regatta. Thanks. Pretty sure I saw some of the boats in the clip, too.

The boats dock and start from Boyne City. That is Pine River Channel out of Charlevoix onto Lake Michigan. It is all connected by Lake Charlevoix.

Coming back from Bay Harbor on Saturday we got into some 6 footers! had my 28ft Joker doing about 40mph through them when a 388 Skater past us at about 130mph!!

The reason the Riviera boat backed out of the channel, was due to the vessel in front of it lost power and temporarily blocked the inlet.

@@scottyoung7196 lol I know that I was just curious about cost per mile. I was actually thinking about getting on for Bali, had a thought about taxing people fast and in style to the many Islands. We currently have fast boats now. But for 100+ people. Just seeing an exclusive opportunity. Money is in Bali, plenty of welthy clients.

Depends on HP ratings some 4 Cylinders have more HP then 6 Cylinders

It was canceled this year but I'm sure it will be back, has been running for 15 years and it is the weekend after the 4th of July. It's a great event to raise money for a children's charity

Not impressed. You definitely need a lot more work formations were way too basic. Try doing diamonds 💎 circle ⭕️ X formation. Spiral down in formation & play follow the leader. 😲🤔👍🏼👍🏼👏🏽👏🏽😎

I've been watching these videos of small planes and they seem to be going very fast when they touch the runway. How fast are they going? What's their take off speed? I'm not a pilot , i just like planes. I wanted to take flying lessons a long time ago, but i couldn't afford it. :(

2-4 seat planes generally take off around 60-65 mph, the landing speed is very close to that as well.

Negative Steve, a lot of plans that are 2-4 seats land and rotate in the 60 mph range, the piper I flew to get my private would rotate around 58-65 mph and land near the same. Most of the time in order to Establish your VREF, you take the Vso and multiply it by 1.3. A lot of aircraft even faster 200 horsepower aircraft can land smoothly and have a stabilized approach landing in the 60 mph range, just depends on the Vso.
