Back in my day FM2-thru-4 these were called "leaderboard cars" coz they rinsed the leaderboard and lobbies. There will always be a few that slip through the cracks. And just like there's always someone to cheese with them, there will always be something that'll replace them 'if' they get nerfed in my experience. If I had to give an excuse to the devs: There's so many variables in a game with this many cars and tuning options and players looking for an edge, it's kinda hard to keep on top off. As a player, you mainly just pray the whole lobby doesn't pull them out when one person does 😂 Saving grace is, you gain nothing but Virtual E-Peen for winning in online lobbies really lol. The race with the rest of the pack in regulars cars is just as fun as reeling in bad players in meta cars, and both those things are infinitely more fun than running the same cars over-&-over or just racing up front 1min ahead of everyone else 24/7 and having to deal with the trash talking back at the lobby screen. Was still fun times when I think about it🤣

Yeah the good ol’ days of the “leaderboard cars”. A class Audi S5 for example. Yeah but a lot of the tuning options for example don’t make sense, but somehow just work with this game. But yes I agree, winning the lobbies in unusual cars is always a huge bonus and actually makes the game fun for a change

OK Soooo.... i was arguing with my friend on the For Focus Touring car, he argued that it was not good, so i was going to prove him wrong, and i Did well... he is convinced but NUMBERS DONT LIE - and with this base tune ALLLL touring cars (except the Subaru as RWD And the A45 AMG because it is just slow) every one car was within 0.500 of each other , now i did spend like 30 laps on each with 3 different tracks VIR for tight - Catalunia for Mid - and Wakins Glan for power Now.. all testing has been done on Wheel because thats what i use, if its a controller - i dont know how this will feel, so take that in to consideration - also i am on PC and can get more accurate number wthan controller so just get as close as you can - - ANYWAY Tire pressure F 27.8 R 29.1 Gearing Final drive 3.15 1st 3.00 2nd 2.14 3rd 1.71 4th 1.41 5th 1.21 6th 1.04 Alignment Camber F -1.7 R -1.7 Toe F 0.0 R -0.1 Caster 6.4 ARB F 30.47 R 40.00 Springs F 533.1 R 523.0 Ride Hight is Lowest it can go Damping Bump F 3.3 R 3.7 Rebound F 8.1 R 7.1 S-G F -0.5 R 0.0 A-G-P F 2.9 R -2.1 Aero is Lowest it can go so None Brakes are prefrance but heres mine Balance - 51% Force 100% Diff Accel 100% Decel 0%

It depends. On Road America, the GT is pretty mediocre. I have a few cars that run 2:16 and under. On other tracks even it’s a pretty meh car. Plenty of cars in A class give the GT a tough time.

@@Azza8585 A lot of people do use it that’s for sure. I’m always trying off meta/under used cars. I think I’m the only Ferrari Dino in the top 50 in A class Road America Rivals.

If I use something deemed "Meta" I always start without qualifying towards the back of the grid as a counter balance. I think this is fair? you get a good challenge to try to make a podium.

is Ford GT Mk II really overpowered? I haven't tried this car but I do not recall seeing this car finishing in front of me in my online A class races. I am just an averaged driver with 4995-4998 skill rating and usually finish 2nd to 5th in online lobbies... Maybe you felt Ford GT Mk II was overpowered because it was Road America where certain special tunes do vastly boost the lap time? Overall looking at average performance on all tracks, the Exocet is actually the real overpowered and frequently abused one in A class...

Yes mate it’s always been overpowered, not so much in this game but it’s still definitely very very good indeed. The thing is, the car wasn’t amazingly fast down the straight, its braking, cornering and acceleration was my gripe; but it’s not that much of a big deal, it just makes races difficult that’s all! Yeah that exocet is a joke, now that is super overpowered

You talk about sportsmanship and then you ram the green bmw from behind and made him lose control a bit and got the position. And the ferrrari said sorry thinking it was his fault. If you were showing sportsmanship, you would have given back the position. But the later you got bumped by the 86 and you complain about it.

It's definitely time for some new tracks, I've been on FM more and more since update 8. Obviously, there are some nasty drivers -_- but all in all, my experience has been getting better and better. I've been B and back to A license since last night, let's see if I can get my S back and hold it till Monday 😅
