I hope they made an Arduino and Xilinx FPGA board combination next, providing application programming and logic speed, the best of both worlds.

A me piacerebbe che l'OPTA sia completamente open lato hardware. Tanto anche se resta closed cmq la community lo smonta e fanno reverse.
@murillogumiero18 күн бұрын
Please keep it up with this videos covering the Opta. There is a huge gap to this device being accepted as a indutrial. To many dependecies on Arduino code and libraries and lack of functions and libraries in IEC standard.

Can you make a RP2040 combined with a 16U2 as bootloader? The big stink of RP2040 boards is that they don't work in the Arduino IDE without replugging cables, which is annoying as heck.

Hi , i am tring to do a brake light that lights up when you press the brake on a bike but i dont wnow what sensor to use for just the slithest touch of the brake to light up i need sugestions ( i want to do it with an arduino pro mini)
@__JiG__SaW__23 күн бұрын
This might be a stupid idea, but you could attach a rotary potentiometer to the pivot point of your brake handle that would rotate with you pulling the handle. This way your board can even tell how hard you're pulling, and possibly do something else like adjust the brightness, or flash rapidly when you're emergency braking.
@Mariuxes20 күн бұрын
@@__JiG__SaW__ can i do something with your idea without needing to pull hard to be bright?
@__JiG__SaW__16 күн бұрын
@@Mariuxes I don't see why not, you just need tight tolerances. Even the slightest brake pull should rotate the potentiometer, even if just slightly. You should get a potentiometer first, and write some simple code that analogreads the raw value from it (the range is usually 0 to 1024). You will see that even the slightest movement of the knob will offset the value. The trick is not to rely on the edge values (i.e. don't have your resting position be at 0 or 1024), as well as good calibration, i.e. compensation for the "dead zone" of the bar where it can move without you pulling on it at all, and you also have to set how much the minimum movement should be when it starts to trigger. Another idea is that if you don't normally rest your hand on the brake handles, you can build a simple circuit to measure capacitance of the brake handle itself - which should change if you just even touch the bar, and you can activate the light based on that. Keep in mind though that even natural moisture from the air can change this to some degree so you'd need to calibrate this well before it being usable.
