@henrytalley3739 I'm not sure, I think the urgent for hr7 is Super Odi but I'm not quite there yet - remains to be seen so to say, I am in rain server so if you're there it should be the same.

@@artemiszenjutsu666 For me, urgent to hr6 was supremacy Odi, there was no urgent to get into hr7, then urgent into G rank was Shantien repel. I'm on renewal if that means anything

@@boolly2078 This may depend entirely upon the server you choose to play the game on, It should also very much be bared in mind that a massive chunk of this game is still being translated so using google lens for later content and untranslated unfamiliar items is very recommended. Most monster carves, weapons, armours and progression texts are (or atleast should be) translated.

@@boolly2078 When you open up the menu in game and go to input controls, you need to setup your control type to portable first, and then follow the guides (usually on the discord server's help guides area) to get the current buttons setup, if you're using an xbox style controller (if u play frontier on PC) its highly recommended to get the adjustment program software called Xinput+. As for playstation controls for things such as a ps3 or ps4 controller layout, i dont recommend using these, its much better calibrated for PSP and PS3 Controller types tho the controls tend to reset themselves randomly from my friends' experience although i think there is another layout setting program for playstation controls on PC.

It depends on the version of the game client you downloaded from the frontier server, one uses a PS controller layout and one uses XB.

@@milanschacht2112 Iodrome will try and inevitably be used as a smoothie.

For me the xbox control overlay was available as part of the full MHFzZ client downloader, if you choose the manual method downloader or steam it overlays the default playstation scheme, i had to use a software to ensure my controls always remain the same and dont reconfigure everytime i open the game, that software being Xinput+.

@@artemiszenjutsu666 Yeah, that is where the game gets really hard, that's mostly because in older versions of Frontier (before G-rank was even introduced into the game) you went from HR1 to HR999 but Capcom decided that it would take a long time for players to reach G-rank, so they compressed it into 6 HRs, that is why the difficulty spike is so big, cause from HR5 onwards, you're fighting HR900/999 monsters.

By 'mandatory' I suppose I should've emphasized it's only needed for the account logging process otherwise you cant keep a character.

The game has been rebuilt by fans and dedicated tech experts with the access and download files held within various Discord accessed servers, I use Rain Frontier Server for convenience, thats the one i recommend if you feel brave enough to play Frontier.

@@moonman9504 A quick google search of Rain Discord Frontier Server will get you there. Make sure to download Discord if you dont have it even if its just for this and then follow the guide in the Discord to download the game's Launcher, you'll then need to make a profile in the discord server to be used to as your Server login and then make a character which you'll then connect to your in-discord profile. The guides available will make thay a lot less confusing. just expect the launcher download to take some time. The game is working very well and most content is accessible easily with simplified tweaks and bonuses for all players accessing through the Rain Frontier community discord server.
