Uncanny resemblance! Her expressions in the mime were flawless-she noticed how rapidly Callas’s eyes would dart around as she began each phrase! Brava Jane!

I love Jane Seymour! And she did really well capturing Callas' hands. But sadly not her facial expressions or body movements. But, who could? Callas was one of a kind!!

To sit down with the singer is a very special gesture, especially for a titan to do so. I’m sure she enjoyed his hand-ballet too! It’s really an orchestral piece. Having her not sing at first session is just fine. It’s good she knows his priorities intimately, and how much effort his band is putting in for her. ie. 8 minutes of almost aurally invisible tremolo! Worth it!

Zthank you sooo much. Videos usually show the diva ms Norman. Here we see a humble ( but incredible) voice at the service of an orchestral giant. Not sure ai ill get to sleep. Its 24.17 here in Valencia Spain

Usually the best ones but it also depends on the repertoire and worldwide venues they sing in. Most major opera houses will have a translator or others on their staff that can assist.

The concert (look the YT vid) is unbelievable, how he shaped the lines with his hands. He was the sorcerer. She was not amused that she should not sing (she prepared her voice before), but he wants to give her an impression about the pianissimo of this orchestra. Unbelievable.
