From the way he played a straight beat through that part after the chorus, tells me this is likely right after his stroke. He wasn’t able to do the fast single stroke rolls that led into the guitar solo section. 😢 but I will give him kudos for not giving up and doing the best he could.

Pretty sure this is from the most recent tour, and Nicko did say this song in particular he had to change the part because of the effects of his stroke two years ago. They opened the show with this one.

I pray he is on the next album as well...I believe he will be since they made a point to say retiring from touring. Bruce made sure to note in Sao Paulo that nicko is still in the band. UP THE IRONS FOREVER 🤘
