As someone who still does color guard, currently in my 7th year of spinning, I love this storyboard. Even now, I am still that one member who can’t toss right because I be a coward and where I live, it gets windy as heck. Amazing storyboard, this deserves more recognition!

How is there no interaction with this storyboard??? Oh my god, as a marching band member who’s close with the color guard at my school, those tosses are TOUGH. I simply love the expressions that you’ve been able to achieve and the characterization of the two mains! This is simply fantastic. I mean, the animatic of the flag specifically is amazing as well. I hope this gets more attention soon, because you really deserve it!

how HOW is this so underrated??? the storyboard is so professional looking, and in just 5 minutes you really get to know these two characters, I would die for Amber actually. and Kris is interesting, love how she came to see she was being too harsh and it just made things worse. you're going places! hopefully the algorithm gods pick this up so more people can see it!

THIS IS SO UNDERRATED UGHH I felt so immersed in the story and this whole storyboard was just so professional. Kudos to you, absolutely amazing. Amber is a little too relatable, I’m gonna sob.

As an actual member of Color Guard, who somehow made its way to this beautiful underrated animation. Those tosses are so terrifying and when you’re learning them, everyone runs from them.

This could make a very nice short film in the future

I love how this was animated to actually feel how the show would have functioned with the puppets. Also the briefcases thrown, nice touch. Wonderful job on their "limited" expressions too, you captured the puppet feel beautifully, and the distortions with Wally slowly looking to us and it cuts out is perfect.
