Your not a gardener if you are using gmo/hybrid seeds OR using store bought chemicals for fungus ect... Use ONLY heirloom seeds, tie up plants,water from bottom, use cinnamon, cloves or mint to prevent fungus & bugs.

I just plant cantaloupe and never have an issue..grow it on dirt vines across ground..get 2-3 off each vine..😅

Copper is safe for human consumption in small amounts. I don't know how safe that stuff is or the amounts exactly, and if you damage copper cookware it can potentially be harmful, but - copper is relatively safe as far as I know.

Fun fact- strawberries are actually perennials. They grow back bigger, stronger and better every year if you just don't dig them up. Dunno if it's work in your bricks? But maybe! Happy planting
