I am inspired to build sommat, but I know that, because I’m a very sloppy painter, I would have to start at the top and work my way down, and also paint some parts before gluing them on because I’m just so messy. The model only roughly represents the hut in the film. E.g.. the windows are quite different. And there was no doorlight, but a lantern at the front door.

Very awesome! I do wish people that make this stuff didn’t just say “white glue”!?! There are many glues that are white! And (unless there is a brand I’ve never heard of before) none of them are actually called “white glue”?!? I started building a old church kinda like this!?! But since I don’t have that cutting board that you used I had to cut all the foam by hand myself….. and just to make a handful of bricks took a long time! And the sound that it makes is worse (to me) then nails on a chalkboard!!! And I wonder if I can find some free pumpkin files of different sizes that I could 3D print?!? Instead of making them out of clay!?! I use to make a lot of stuff with both of my (resin and filament) printers! But once I started having issues with being able to download a file for my slicer app that is for the filament printer, I kinda slowed down on making things! That and the fact that most of the files I want cost money! And I’m kinda definitely broke!!! So I don’t really have extra cash for that stuff!!! Maybe someday I’ll have the time and drive to finish it………… I doubt it though!?! But I do love watching videos like this though!

15:50- What kind of clay are the pumpkins made out of? I know it says what it’s called but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it!?! Is that the clay that you put in the oven for like 15-20 minutes at (like) 350 degrees to make it solid?!? I got a bunch of that stuff to make things with my daughter!?! But she lost interest very quickly!!!
