Nathan Turner turned the show into a camp pantomime. His casting decisions sucked too Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy were uninspired choices for the role. All of them paled in comparison to the first four. The companions weren’t great either. Bonnie Langford? The stories were not in the same league compared to the 1970s. Only The Caves of Andronzi was a classic. Just a showman producer who used his position to bed young gay doctor who fans.

Whilst I like the theory of the White Guardian, I do not believe that it is them cause Ms flood commented that wanted to cause hostile intent, when she told Cherry to tell her maker that she will seize his kingdom of gold in her true name and that doesn’t sound like something a being of Order would be interested in, but I don’t know, I’ve only seen a handle of the 4th Doctor episodes which not involved the guardians. However, I do think she might have been name dropped by Sutekhs Harbingers, during the monologue building up to his name reveal, and that is Incensor, the god of disaster.

If it's The Rani, she could've had a fogwatch, ya know? Dropping her groceries in shock and rushing indoors, she might've been called to the watch, releasing her Timelord self, and a return of The Rani would be completely nuts. She did say she was hiding herself away, like a Timelord.

Every time we see Mrs Flood she is wearing clothing that throws back to a previous Doctor’s companion. I think she is a future companion and we are seeing her in between times she is being plucked from time to go on adventures. This her knowledge of the Doctor and TARDIS keep increasing.

Great video, thanks for the discussion! I don’t have a clue who Mrs. Flood is but you have successfully logic-ed me from thinking she’s the Rani or the Master. I tend to believe she was possessed at some point during the first episode given the way her character changed over the course of that episode.

I have to find that episode with him in it now. I kind of like this idea. But I feel like I really don't care about this series or anyone in it. If I watch the next one, it's probably going to be morbid curiosity about the death of a show I loved.

I like the "White Guardian" Theory, but I don't believe that's it. Reason being, her costume's keep referencing prior characters / events. Plus they weren't always white. I like the Pond theories, Melody or Amy. But that could be wishful thinking. Is there something sinister going on? I do think "someone/thing" has taken her over, or assumed her identity has possibilities. Have we given up on her being The Master (or Missy)? As always, thank you so very much for the videos. I do believe she's probably a Time Lord, but is she one we've met before? Susan? Romana? A different (past/future) "Doctor?".

Man I remember watching this a couple of years ago on Christmas Eve probably in 2019. I made my grandma watch all 3 of the parts lol. Hope the series can continue because it’s SO nostalgic

The Perks of Being a Wallflower has got to be one of the best books I've ever read. I was going through an extremely difficutly time while reading that, and seeing how real Charlie felt, how alike things were, it really made me feel like i wasnt alone. Like someone else really did understand. Plus his friends Sam and Patrick are amazing in their own way. I know that book gets a lot of hate, and i understand why it was banned so much, but it really was an amazing book, and i think anyone struggling mentally would get a great experience from it. Some of my other favorite books are Stephen King's, Misery, and J.D.Salinger's, The Catcher in the Rye.
