I love the simple life. Your little travels were very nice. enjoying one's surroundings in nature is invigorating. Never rushing through the day should be a priority. the balcony garden is looking good! I'd love to grow sweet peas. I mostly have morning glories.

Thank you for your kind words. You are right we intent to rush through days years even through our lives. I do believe we can change that loop, just by giving time to ourselves to enjoy life as it’s simple and pure as can be.

Angel is so cute. She was upset about the bath but the carriage was just the thing to change her feelings. Yes, it'll be great for her health & happiness ❤. Love the work you put into your garden goodies. The narrow shelf was just the thing you needed!

Hiya Rosey 😄Angel (she )knows having a bath is not the end of the world but still. She had adopted to the buggy very quickly. I hope it will remain the same when we going to embark our summer adventure. In relation to the balcony it is coming along I cannot wait to share the changes it will go through in a next couple of months. Keep planing, planting and organising.

Hiba Roseybud9646 I had been the happiest person that day. I have always been a keen walker, now as I am getting older aches and pains are coming and going. So that day I know it will be n unforgettable experience and adventure. I was not mistaken. As a solo hike it was a lone but present experience. I was buzzing than and yes slept very well that night. I cannot wait to have another experience and adventure like this very soon.

Thank for your support, most importantly that you like the garden transformation. Currently, I am working on my small balcony. I have a vision to transform it into a wildlife heaven. It will not be the same experience an a garden, but do try.

I did Catbells just before Christmas on a cold, frosty but sunny day, walking the exact same route as you from Keswick. It is a Fell I have climbed many times before, solo, with Mrs Metalman, with friends, with my son and grandson, so it is a very special Fell for me, which holds so many good memories. I disagree with Wainwright with his assessment that Catbells is an easy Fell for first time hikers and families, there are so many more much higher that are (in comparison) so much easier to climb and not as steep, with no scrambles at all. Very well done on getting to the top, I have seem so many people turn around disillusioned and (imo) the way you went down is the way people should go up with a family and for a first ever hike up a fell, so much easier. I am glad you made it and glad you enjoyed it and look forward to seeing more of your climbs, cheers Alan

I see you are well experienced in the Lake District. You are right Catbells is not as easy as you might think as a first timer. I have got worried, if the Catbells are the easier to hike, how hard is the rest of the fells? I am very excited to make memories and to share my experience and adventure. I am very glade you do like the channel theme. I’ll post as often as I go to a new and exciting places.

Love the lakes and love Keswick and the most magical time to visit is at Christmas and walk around after dark when all the lights go on. We only did the railway walk for the first time last Spring on a very wet day but we still enjoyed it so much. Cheers Alan

I do share your love to the Lake District. We have discovered the true beauty of the Lake District after we moved up North from South. On my very first visit in 2023 spring , it has captured my heart. It has become our number 1 holiday spot. Yes Christmas time is so special, Keswick becomes a little quiet and homy place to spend a well deserved break. I am looking forward to go back very soon, and discover the Lake District hidden jams. Have you explored other parts of the Lake District?

When we were there the weather was not so plesent, but really we have got use to the English weather. It was raining than sunshine on and off. One time nice and sunny that your raincoat or umbrella on. The last day was getting sunnier and less rain. We are planing to go back in November which means lots of rain. when I am planning my easy hike on one of the mountain. Yes the villages and the landscape are sunning just takes your breath away. Nature is so beautiful and unique.

Thank you Rosey. I am looking forward to the actual change of the plants as you have described to become lush. Currently, can get extremely hot on a sunny days. So I must focus on plants which will climb and crates a cover from the direct sun.
