Hi mate, Do you typically recommend the use of flexible ag drain pipes or rigid perforated PVC pipes in bioretention systems? Have you encountered many instances where subsurface drainage pipes are omitted? I am currently working with such a system.

Hi Ocean Protect. it is such an interesting topic and I would like to know which WSUD assets are effectively managing stormwater quality and reducing the runoff volume. Many thanks

What size socket are you using to take the bolts off the individual filters?

Hi Damien, Look at a system like this to install at our Local Council. Isn't it defeating the purpose if you just wash down the filter cartridge back into the system or am I missing something here?

Hi Elwyn, thanks for leaving a comment on our video. When you rinse the Jellyfish tentacles during a routine maintenance you are washing these heavier pollutants into the Jellyfish tank, which then settle in the large sump. The sump will at some stage need to be emptied using a vac truck like any stormwater quality improvement device such as a gpt; hence the first step is to check the sediment depth using a sludge judge. By rinsing into the Jellyfish unit we are continuing to capture pollutants in the system. The settlement of pollutants in the system between services can be seen on the next service video using the sludge judge. Please email me directly on [email protected] and I would be happy to provide more information.

I had the exact same question. His answer made quite a bit of sense though, only if this is vac trucked immediately following rinsing.

Hey great video and product! Have you used these in Tassie anywhere? I’d love to see one in person so I can show my boss. Cheers Allison

Hey Allison, I'm in Tassie looking to get these installed all over the island. Let me know if that is your goal too and perhaps we could collaborate.

Nice video there Damian, the high velocity of the twirling water can easily be seen to keep the pollutants away from the discharge filter
