Lots of stroads-a street-road hybrid-in Chico at least in this driving tour. These wide arterials feed car friendly business. Not all of Chico looks like this. Nice quiet neighborhoods and a huge one of a kind state park lies right in the middle of town and extends to the outlying areas too. Had to quit watching half way through. Maybe you show some of those areas.

I'm starting to look at places to retire. I want a place that's small (but not too small), quiet and kind of boring with nice weather. I'm not interested in a resort type place and I want to avoid Florida because I have a insect phobia. From what I see here, Lodi is exactly what I'm looking for.

This video does not show the entirety of the roads list in the video. For example: Elm Avenue start at the railroad tracks next to the depot and not when one comes off Interstate 80 westbound. Be more of a help to the viewers by showing the entirety of the roads not done by what you think is the entirety when it’s not! Let’s see how do I get this video off of “You Tube”? 18:06

I lived in Redding from 2007-2011. I used to ride a bike a lot and Redding has the most paved and unpaved hiking/biking paths of any placed I've lived. BUT...the Summers are brutally hot, air quality is horrid, smoke-filled air from wildfires June-September, a lot of whiggers, tweakers, and rednecks. City government controlled by Tea Party (teabaggers) MAGA nuts (tRUMPers). You'll love it! Lol

It’s 107 degrees right now at 6:30PM, 7/3/2024. Yesterday it got up to 110. It gets hotter and hotter each year. Climate change is going to screw us in 50 years at this pace. What on Earth can we feasibly do to stop this?

Driving the San Mateo bridge at sunset with the water so close and the sun reflecting on it, it's my favorite bridge to drive after doing a gig and driving back to the Peninsula, except sometimes the smell, lol.

If retired. Anybody know if Redding, California is a good place to live ? Are home prices overpriced ? Thanks.
