And the cops can’t hold me even if they tried. I have gotten busted by them but I kept trying because their police cars were equipped with kill switches and they could shut my car down when they lock on.

The rubber-banding of the cops in this game is ludicrous.

@@ConcededGlue182 How well and fast you race dictates how well and fast the NPC's race. Rubberbanding in racing is a mechanism generally employed so strong players don't completely dominate and inexperienced players are basically given an AI assist. The assist magically keeps all the competitors close together, irrespective of skill level. It's not as massively apparent in the actual races in the game, (because players can still actually dominate or badly lose those) but in the cop chases, it's absolutely insane how "tight" the band is. Literally the only way to "snap" the band is to drive places the AI struggles to go - namely over ramps.
