Nice looking rack. I wasn't aware of this brand and built my own that's similar. Bought the crossbars off Amazon, then picked up some 1/4 aluminum at the local metalshop and fabbed my own rails. Dealing with the 10-11 degree slope angle at the side of the Suburban was tricky but found a work around. All told out of pocket was about $400 and some hours of my time. Luckily I have access to a mill for all the drilling and slotting. I didn't take mine the full length (kept it 8 feet long) since I didn't want to overhang the mounts by so much. But nice job on yours.

They don’t design a car with any focus whatsoever on ease of end users removing parts for looks. Design engineers sole purpose is to make it as quick, easy and affordable as possible to manufacture with some consideration for maintenance like oil changes and brake pad replacement. I promise you zero thought went into simplicity of removing these things and that’s just the way it is. Unfortunately for us it sucks. Previous gen is a 20 minute job.

Off subject question.... what fender flares are those and where'd you get them, I'm having a helluva time trying to find aftermarket parts for a tahoe/suburban 2019

I wish I knew they actually came on the truck when I first got it. One of them I damaged and I haven’t been able to replace it. I’ve noticed most aftermarket parts for these models are very ugly. ESP fender flares. Also they’re about 1/4 inch thick and don’t do anything for mud.

Lol yeah these parts are hard to find, trying to figure out if there is anything used on other vehicles that might come close to fitting on a tahoe/suburban. What did you do with the front part of the rubber peace that had the clip you had to remove ontop isn’t that a hole also beside the 4 bolt holes?

Sorry I thought you were referring to my other roof rack video. There is no hole in the front it’s just a metal piece that sticks up that the plastic clips on to

Where is the video with the plastic strip you put in after you put the bolts in. We didn’t get to see the finished product once it was done or the rubber piece being put in after you put the bolts in

The strip was not long enough so I didn’t use it. The rest was just for aesthetics and not needed. I have a roof rack now and that’s what I recommend if you don’t want to see the bolts

The transmissions will go out around 130k and the DOD isn’t the best. If you’re okay with that then yes

They can go for a while. I'm original owner of a 1995 4WD Suburban with only 160k miles...still runs like a champ even after all these years. Only downside is the MPG.

@@seangowan7441 Yes! All of our roof racks work with factory sunroofs. Some generations of our roof racks allow the cross bar to be positioned in a place that will interfere with the tilt function, so just veify before operating.

That’s the factory grill. It came on one there z71 bumpers. I had to cut it off in order to get that bumper in there

Thanks for the video and your business! The condensation in it is happening inside the can from the cold outside air hitting the hot air passing through the can and hoses. Think hot shower in a cold room. Nothing to worry about, just want to make sure you check and empty it more frequently in the winter months. You can also check out our extension for this kit that doubles the capacity so you can go longer between checking it.
