What is the biggest difference between 3.89 and 4.11s ? My dif is fucked and only can find a 3.89 was just gona pick that up and mini spool it ?
@flatoutmotorsport Жыл бұрын
Hi Taylor, it does depend on the application of the diff. Generally speaking, if you're using the car daily, I personally wouldn't go 4:11's. They are fun in low rev's but will be revving high when doing 100-110kph highway driving. 4:11's are good for max acceleration, drifting, skids and burnouts. 3.89's are not that much different but once again, (generally speaking) the 3.89 diff will be more comfortable / sustainable with daily use / highway driving. In track / drifting use, depending on your engine and gearbox, it might take a bit more input from the driver to make it skid / drift in 2nd / 3rd gear. Use what you got until you can't. We're firm believer's in using everything to it's full potential until you can't. For your situation, I'd personally chuck a minispool in it, have fun, send it and adapt to what the diff is giving you back in terms of performance. We were luck enough to have the 4:11's handy. If we didn't, we would have had no problem keeping the existing diff. Hope this help, please reach out if needed. Thanks heaps for taking the time to watch and comment.

Hi Ben, if it's regarding power, there's certainly a difference. Barra turbo's have 270kws stock. N/A Barra's have 182-195KWS.
