I am so glad to have found these videos. I see I am late to the party. I would just love to see new videos. Maybe a tutorial of a full pattern. Hope you are well.✌🏼💛

What if you have one stitch for a color and then change back to the first color - i.e., 6 white, 1 blue, 6 white

Dumb question: im fixing to do my first graphgahn n i have done 27 rows of sc. Is it important to do those in the extended single crochet as well? Its a texas longhorn steer head with teal background n cinnamon steer. So two color graphgahn. If not; im willing to tear out n start over with the ext sc. Edit to add: apparently the pattern was for a c2c but the graph is line by line. So should i start from the bottom n not the top? The top starts the steer with the horns. Im thinking i should start with the bottom.

You, my dear, are amazing with the crochet hook. I have been playing around with stitches to make a graph or picture blankets look nicer. Have you tried the wide single crochet stitch. Except it's thick. It's an amazing stitch so both sizes look the same just probably not best for words. Also. I found a book online called Reversible Color Crochet by Laurinda reddig and I'm struggling with the book. I like videos. check it out. She made a beautiful vest she did called Rowan I believe picture design with yarn. A couple of techniques as doing 2 stitches in one to help with design. I hope all is well and thank you for your time sharing

Thank you so much for all your tips and tricks 🙏 I couldn’t leave a comment on the change color and lock in the new color video, but that video was a life changer for me. I’m so afraid of my work unraveling while washing that I was making knots in the yarn to lock it in!! Yeah, not pretty but I didn’t know what else to do, until now😃You have a new follower. Again, thank you and keep up with the great job and wonderful creations 💕

Does the extended sc distort the image, compared to sc?

So on your mom blanket only the white is the extended sc but the background is sc?

Any advice on how to get a straight line like this in the middle of a row. I have 77white 6black 77white. I don't like how the 6black "legs" show up in the white row below them. Please help!! Thank you
@StephRenee812 Жыл бұрын
You can do late color changes row below. If I said that right. So the row you are on say the above row that will come next will have the 3 black stitches in between the white. Well, you can color change the stitches in the top loop so that way on the next row you're black string is already tied into your work from the row below and you can just use that to start the black stitches. I'm not the best at explaining I want to start making videos but I haven't a clue how to do that.
@StephRenee812 Жыл бұрын
Actually she is doing it in video. But instead of for your case the whole row you can do this for just a few stitches you will just have to weave in. The ends. Make an extra ball of black color and white color so you don't have a lot if yarn tales

I had a hard time getting my needle in the right place under the leg to hide it. I had to keep telling myself under the leg with the old color up with the new color? But I hate it when my yarn talks back and argues with me Lol

Can you show how to do this in hdc?
@StephRenee8122 жыл бұрын
On one of your blankets for graph. You do a long single crochet I think that's what you call it. If you do this and Carr your yarn I haven't done with without yet. But you go thru loop pull up go go through one then go through same loop pull up and then pull through all 3 it make q nice stitch for graphs then when you get to end and turn. There is a loop under the V well a diagonal loop that the other piece is under the V so you go under that one then up under the v where you would had went in if you were doing a sc and do the stitch all over again. I believe you don't have to carry the yarn. But anyways. This stitch is amazing for graph blankets I call picture blankets. Only one person does these on KZbin that I could find she don't have English subtitles but the blanket back and front are exactly the same and no jagged edges. Way cleaner than the sc. If you understand what I a. Saying try it. I bet you never go back..hugs and thank you for qll you do

what if your angle has a different color on both sides? For example: your blanket goes; 22 black, 3 brown, 165 black; then turn, 164 black, 6 brown, 20 black; then turn, 18 black, 10 brown, 162 black. Do I do two in same space on both sides of brown; after black and then before black?
@CrochetGraphghan2 жыл бұрын
A little tricky but I try to follow the first side. Keep the slants (doubles) going in line. I'll get a video up
