I had an A class D lock and thieves still managed to force the lock apart. I'd love to electrify the bike to make it safe

Do you must ride without rain guard?
@BK42Cycles4 күн бұрын
There is a proper mudguard to be installed. I decided not to have it.. tks

Hey brother, I think only Engwe can replace those for you. :( Try reaching out to them through their website. Thanks for watching!

Very nicely proportioned. I like the offset-angled downtube to clear the chain, very clever solution. Reminds me of the motorcycle builds of Billy Lane with the springer forks and low bars.

Plz Suggest me i should go for M20 or M1 for delivery purpose
@BK42Cycles4 күн бұрын
Hi man, unfortunately, I haven’t tested the M1 yet. I own the M20, and honestly, it’s not practical for delivery unless you’re okay with using a backpack. I don’t think the M1 would be much better for that. However, ENGWE does offer better bikes designed for delivery services. Thanks for watching!

in the Netherlands this costs 600 euros. That's what you buy a great used E Bike for. It's way too expensive!

I’ve been looking at creating an e-bike or buying one for years now. I could get a cheap Amazon one for a total of $400 - right to my door simple assembly. Looks like a decent bike. I have an old trek mtb and another newer 820, better wheel for this unit, that was the one I was going to either do a front or rear or mid … I don’t need another bike, but I don’t want to put work into a bike that can’t handle the power. I haven’t watched this, but I like the fact there’s hardware attaching it to the back, when I saw the rubbeex I thought of putting a rack or something. This is old tech - I watched dutch guys racing Solexs (gas motor mounted in front tire driving it) - he posted it in response to someone’s concern over tire friction - last thing they were concerned about racing. Cool video. It’s old tech which worked, other systems just worked better. The electric motors you attach via a chain work, just not as good as a hub unit. You can power something for about $200 if you have the know-how. Fun project - but this thing you could put on different bikes. I’m in the city so I don’t think the places I can mountain bike/trail ride allow e-bikes, this I pop off and put in a backpack. I’m not looking for crazy power. Might be the solution.
