I am considered light skinned. My friends who have hair have white scalps. My scalp is not white, it is close to skin color. Because most of the hair on my head fell out. There are small hairs on the top of my head. Some of these small feathers are slightly black, and some are white-yellow. I'm an electronic engineer. I want to make a hair laser hat that is not LED but only LASER. In what wavelength range and how many mW power should I choose medical lasers? Please could you tell me the estimated wavelength range based on my non-white scalp?

Nice video thanks. My concern is that you’re wearing a white tshirt and standing in front of a machine with big white areas on it. I can’t look at the colour white without wanting to vomit so I had to listen only. I am autistic with severe photophobia from Sensory Processing Disorder. I’ve had a cerebellar stroke which affected my balance too. My OT said I have visual misophonia meaning I get overwhelmed by all visual stimuli or seeing any movement. I’m on disability and can’t leave the house even on cloudy days. Even daylight with curtains makes me ill with migraines and vertigo. I’m on Lutein. I have tinted glasses. I’ve done visual retraining after the stroke. I’m at my wits end because I can only function when it’s pitch dark. Daylight Savings Time nearly kills me. I’m sick the entire time until autumn. This started in childhood because of autism but it’s a lot worse post stroke. Help!

Growing up special needs was traumatizing and people usually think I'm faking a brain injury because I write so well, but intelligence is multifaceted and not that simple. I wish more people would educate themselves on the different varying levels of brain injuries. Laura hasn't posted in a long time, and I hope she and Jon are doing well.

So, I have had light sensitivity and it's been getting worse for years. As lights get brighter I have been getting light induced migraines which is resulting in severe pain in the eyes and feels like my brain is actually going to explode. I'm a semitruck driver and the nonstop assault to my eyes from lights is actually starting to cause anger and rage to the point where I find myself needing to pull over and put a mask over my eyes and try to block out any and all light possible till the headache subsides which might be 20minutes or 2hours. Tonight it was over 1.5hrs of sitting on the side of the road till the pain went away. I ordered some alleged max blue light blocking glasses but the light and pain has been getting worse and worse. Do I need to see an optometrist? Neurologist? Both? Neither. I'd like to have this officially diagnosed because anymore I dread going out after dark and it's only compounded by literally everyone buying the cheapest garbage blue light emitting leds and installing them everywhere.

Currently healing from one now. Last year I slid on the highway in the ice and crashed into the center median. Was on the phone with my dad and looking for a spare tire before blacking out as 2 other cars slide into mine knocking me into the median fracturing part of my skull and causing bleeding in the brain. I woke up to my dad and 2 other gentlemen screaming at people to slow down before an ambulance took me to the ER. Ended up being in the ICU for 3 days and the hospital for 6 days. Left ear is still ringing to this day but got incredibly lucky

Hi Doc, I am almost sixty eight years old. In 1998 at age forty two I squired a diagnosis of Toxic Encephalopathy from a twenty seven year solvent exposure from work. I remember a Psychologist telling me, that a damaged brain oftentimes cannot process man-made vitamins well. Instead they tended to cause a lot of anxiety and other symptoms. For the next twenty or so years, I could not take any fat soluble vitamins without them racing me and causing a lot of problems. Fast forward to 2014, I stopped taking 2 mg's of Klonopin for my solvent injury. After I tapered, I had a horrible almost two and a half year protracted Benzo withdrawal, that had me almost bedridden the whole time. During my Benzo withdrawal, "any" supplement I tried lit me up terribly. Have you ever experienced this in other people with TBI's? Thanks............ Bob
